Dr. Heinz R. Kubli, CFA

Heinz R. Kubli (1969), Dr. oec. publ., CFA, graduated in Economics and Business Administrations at the University of Zurich in February 1995. Until November 2000 he worked in the Equity Derivatives Research of UBS Warburg - the investment banking division of UBS AG - in Zurich. During that time he got promoted to Associate Director. He then worked in Risk Management Products of UBS Warburg in Zurich. In December 2000 he received his Ph.D. in Finance.




 
 


From July 2001 to May 2003 he worked for Bank von Ernst / Bayerische HypoVereinsbank in Zurich as Vice President in HVB Equity Linked Product Sales. Now, he is a partner to Fundabilis GmbH, a (hedge) fund distributor and asset manager, and to Sensalis GmbH, a research company for independent research in applied finance. He is also a member of the Swiss Society of Investment Professionals, the Swiss Association of Market Technicians, and the International Association of Financial Engineers.

His current research projects are investigating the behavior of investment banks issuing equity linked products. Together with Dr. Christian Kronseder, he is also developing a framework for: «Liquidity at Risk». Heinz's mother tongue is German. He is speaking and writing English fluently, and has useful to good knowledge in writing and speaking French and Spanish. He also talks a bit Italian and Portuguese and has a basic knowledge of Russian.
